I got to know milk and dairy products from Europe when I was participating the series of activities by Discover the Shapes of Taste-Made in EU, it is an informative and promotional campaign co-financed by European Union and managed and executed by Assolatte (Italian Milk and Dairy Association), that aims at improving the knowledge about the European dairy products in China. And I have learned about how to use the products, specially cheese and butter in my recipes!
As a food lover, I also prefer to use cheese in my dishes. This time, I made this pan-fried cod with clam sauce using European butter and Parmesan cheese.
- Cod 200g
- Clams 200g
- Butter 20g
- Onion half
- Parmesan cheese
- A few strawberries for garnish
- Beansprouts for garnish
1.- Prepare the ingredients, defrost the cod and clams.
2.- Add the defrosted clams to the pan, cut the onion into small pieces and sauté them with the butter.
3.-Stir fry and add the stock. The clams in stock are finished.
4.-Add the butter to the pan, melt it completely and add the cod and start frying the cod.
5.- Fry the cod until golden brown on both sides and crispy on the outside.
6.- Use the clam chowder as a base, place the fried cod on top and garnish with delicious strawberries and beansprouts.
7.-Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and you’re done.
